Clinical Director / Physical Therapist Job in Armonk, NY – ProClinix Sports Physical Therapy & Chiropractic is seeking a skilled and motivated Clinical Director / Physical Therapist to join our award-winning team in Armonk, NY. ProClinix is a privately owned, multi-disciplinary healthcare practice specializing in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. Our services include physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture, and sports performance training. With multiple locations throughout Westchester County, NY, we provide a collaborative and innovative approach to recovery, performance, and long-term wellness. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands‑on patient care with clinical leadership, working in a modern facility alongside a highly experienced and supportive team. Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 + sign‑on bonus Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily clinical operations to ensure high‑quality patient care Supervise, mentor, and support a team of physical therapists and clinical staff Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver hands‑on care including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training Design and implement return‑to‑sport and performance‑based rehabilitation programs Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated patient care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems Ensure compliance with New York State regulations and clinic standards Assist in developing clinic policies, procedures, and operational improvements Support scheduling and workflow efficiency within the clinic Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy required Active or pending New York State Physical Therapy license Current CPR/BLS certification Strong background in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation Experience with manual therapy techniques and return‑to‑sport protocols Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for patient‑centered care and performance‑based outcomes Experience working with athletic populations and return‑to‑sport protocols preferred Specialty certifications (PRPC, CAPP‑Pelvic, ICE, APTA Pelvic Health, CHT) are a plus Skills Advanced knowledge of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols Ability to assess, diagnose, and create customized treatment plans Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development abilities Excellent organizational and time‑management skills Effective communication with patients, athletes, and healthcare professionals Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous learning Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation Benefits Competitive salary with sign‑on bonus Continuing education (CEU) reimbursement Professional development and advanced certification support Modern clinics with progressive rehabilitation equipment Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment Clear pathways for career growth and leadership advancement Opportunities to work with local athletic programs and sports organizations Reduced administrative burden to focus on patient care Join ProClinix Sports Physical Therapy & Chiropractic and take the next step in your career with a team committed to helping patients recover, perform, and thrive.
