Weekend Call Coverage

Friday 5:00 PM-Monday 7:00 AM

Approximately 3 Weekends Per Month

24-Hour Call Coverage

Average Call Back Including Rounding: Approximately 4 Hours Per Day

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Inpatient Cardiac Surgery Coverage

Provide Weekend Call Coverage

Perform Inpatient Rounding

Assist With Urgent Cardiac Surgery Cases

Manage Patients Requiring Surgery Following Cardiac Catheterization

Provide Postoperative Cardiac Surgery Care

Manage Patients From ICU Through Discharge

Collaborate With APP Support Staff

Surgeon Available for Backup Following Consultation

Requirements

Active Pennsylvania License - Required

DEA - Required

Minimum 3 Years of Clinical Experience in Cardiothoracic / Cardiac Surgery - Required

Acute Care Certification - Not Required

Credentialing
