Cardiac Surgery - Nurse Practitioner

Surgical Nurse Practitioner (SNP) Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania Schedule: 6:00AM - 6:00AM x 2 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $739 - $796/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Surgical Nurse Practitioner (SNP) for a locum tenens assignment in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Surgical Nurse Practitioner (SNP):

Provide cardiac surgery advanced practice provider (APP) support coverage for 3 weekends per month (Friday 5pm to Monday 7am) Manage 24-hour call responsibilities with an average callback of approximately 4 hours per day including rounding Support urgent cardiac surgery cases, including patients transitioning from the cath lab to surgery Manage patient care for adult populations (ages 18+) across the care continuum from ICU to discharge Perform vein harvesting procedures as required Collaborate with the attending surgeon, who is available for backup following consult Utilize EPIC EMR system for clinical documentation and patient management Maintain active PA licensure and DEA registration Maintain a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in cardiac surgery or comparable specialty Adhere to all facility credentialing, privileging, and compliance requirements, including full compliance due 2 weeks prior to start Complete required health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing Submit required credentialing documents within 5 days of signing, including Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results Schedule Department of Human Services fingerprint collection and Child Abuse Search as part of onboarding compliance
