Financial Reporting Manager

Job Description Summary As a Financial Reporting Manager at Taylor Morrison, you will be responsible for a significant amount of the company's quarterly and annual filings and will closely interact with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, and Tax. Responsibilities Preparation of 8K, 10Q, 10K reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Coordinate quarterly and annual reporting calendars, ensuring all deadlines are met. Support and assist with any transaction related to SEC reporting (e.g., M&A, debt issuance, etc.). Assist in the maintenance of internal controls documentation related to corporate financial reporting and accounting to ensure compliance with SOX. Create reporting schedules in conjunction with the accounting team. Assist the CAO with key reports and presentations. Research and interpret U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance; draft technical accounting memos. Assist with the preparation of the annual proxy. Monitor new accounting standards and assess their impact on the company. Support complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, stock‑based compensation, leases, business combinations, and impairments. Assist with audit requests and act as a key liaison with external auditors. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in public accounting or a public company in an SEC‑regulated environment. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy required. Excellent communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and project‑management skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Strong written communication skills for drafting disclosures and technical memos. Results‑driven. Strategic thinking. Integrity and trust. FLSA Status: Exempt Salary and Compensation Salary Range: $105,570 – $153,080. Bonus or Commission Eligible: 25% of AIP. Auto Allowance: N/A. Cell Allowance: N/A. Other Information Travel: 10–15% required, primarily at quarter end for 1–2 weeks. Essential Functions and Work Requirements: Ability to oversee direct reports and provide guidance as needed. Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from computers and/or electronic devices. Ability to have face‑to‑face conversations with customers, co‑workers, and higher‑level managers. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around the work environment as needed. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
