Forklift Operator, 1st shift
Custom Building Products
We are looking for an experienced FORKLIFT OPERATOR to join our Perth Amboy, NJ plant. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers' satisfaction by shipping and/or receiving products timely and accurately. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Maintenance, and more. Our Forklift Operators are not sitting on a lift throughout the shift - There is frequent movement which includes lifting. You will work in a team environment with an opportunity to advance in your career with Custom Building Products.

- Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down industrial forklift.
- Ensure that all finished product meets quality standard.
- Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
- Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
- Proficient operation of forklift and walkie rider (Driving test will be given at interview)
