Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role places you in a supportive network of educators and SLPs, providing essential speech and language services to elementary and middle school students. Starting in August and extending through May, this position allows you to work on-site in multiple settings, adapting your skills to diverse student needs. Both full-time assignments and potential part-time flexibility are available to fit your lifestyle.

Skills and qualifications desired:

• Active Florida DOH SLPA license is required
• Prior experience in school-based settings or pediatrics is highly valued
• Confidence managing moderate student caseloads and collaborating with various staff members
• Adaptability to work at different school sites within the district
• Completion of fingerprinting and background checks, with familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse process being a plus

Key responsibilities will include:

• Implementing speech-language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Documenting student progress and assisting in the creation of intervention materials and strategies
• Coordinating with teachers, families, and IEP teams to support student goals
• Traveling as needed between assigned school locations
