Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Shift: Nights - 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend and holiday - Sunday start

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider orders. This position requires collaboration with medical staff to support patient care directives and ensure optimal respiratory function.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials (CRT is not acceptable)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ohio Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to intermittently sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate throughout the shift
• Capability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Normal visual range with or without correction
• Normal audio range with or without correction
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment
• Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds occasionally
• Effective communication skills in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications
• Requires ability to see computer monitors and departmental documents
• Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals is expected
