Exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist eager to provide virtual support in a flexible, short-term contract! Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Louisiana
• Experience in a school-based OT setting
• Comfortable conducting virtual evaluations and services
• Ability to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Capable of managing re-evaluations across grade levels and PreK evaluations
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual occupational therapy re-evaluations for students across multiple grade levels
• Conduct PreK evaluations on Fridays as scheduled
• Dedicate at least one day per week for IEP meetings and related documentation
• Supervise a COTA, offering oversight and guidance in accordance with state and school policies
• Engage with staff to address student needs and ensure compliance with individualized education plans
• Potential for continued COTA supervision under a separate arrangement after the initial contract period ends

This contract starts ASAP and is anticipated to last one or two months, with all services delivered remotely. Flexibility in scheduling makes it ideal for professionals balancing multiple commitments or seeking to broaden their teletherapy expertise.
