A fulfilling opportunity awaits for a part-time virtual Occupational Therapist to support students in a dynamic school environment near Grambling, LA. This short-term, contract position begins as soon as possible and is ideal for a dedicated OT passionate about fostering student success through collaborative and flexible work.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct required re-evaluations for students across multiple grade levels, ensuring timely and thorough assessments
• Perform PreK evaluations every Friday, maintaining an organized and efficient caseload
• Dedicate at least one day per week to completing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with school guidelines
• Provide clinical supervision for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), offering mentorship and support
• Deliver high-quality virtual OT services that align with best practices in a school-based setting
• Communicate professionally with educators, families, and team members to promote positive student outcomes

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana
• Prior experience providing OT services in school settings, especially with re-evaluations and PreK assessments
• Skill in virtual service delivery and competent with teletherapy platforms
• Strong organizational abilities and a passion for personalized student care
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is desirable

This position offers part-time hours with a flexible, work-from-home arrangement for a period of one to two months. After the main contract concludes, an ongoing opportunity exists to continue as a supervisor for the COTA.
