Billing Support Specialist

Providing specialized support and education to members of terminated accounts, the full-time Billing Support Specialist will manage a caseload focused on balance bill defense while working remotely to ensure timely issue resolution and a positive member experience. Key responsibilities: Manage assigned member caseload through proactive advocacy, enhancing member engagement and experience Coordinate issue resolution by acting as the point person for member inquiries and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders Analyze billing activity to make strategic recommendations for balance bill settlements and maintain accurate documentation throughout the process Required qualifications: High school diploma or GED; some college preferred 1+ years of related member support experience Experience in billing, insurance, healthcare, or legal environments is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet navigation Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations
