Logistics Specialist / Customs Entry Writer I
Irving, TX (On-Site)
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM- some weekends required as needed
Up to $20/hr DOE- may have a little flexibility based on experience
Contract-to-Hire
Join a growing logistics and customs compliance organization supporting U.S. importers with customs clearance and international shipping documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Review shipping documents and invoices for Customs compliance
- Enter import and shipment data into company systems
- Communicate with customers to obtain required documentation
- Prepare and submit Customs entries
- Verify data accuracy and generate reports
- Provide customer support via phone and email
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of data entry experience
- Freight forwarding, import/export, or customs experience preferred
- Strong math, communication, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
