Established (20+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Attorney for Insurance Defense in Houston, TX An established firm based in Houston with over 20 years in practice is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join their team. This Attorney will have experience with complex commercial litigation and/or insurance defense, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters. Offer Salary range: $120,000-$185,000, contingent on experience Medical, dental, and life insurance HSA plan with monthly employer contribution 401(k) with employer match Paid parking in adjacent garage State Bar dues and CLEs covered Quarterly bonuses Qualifications Candidates must hold a J.D. from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice in Texas. A minimum of 2 years of insurance defense experience is required Strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills are essential. Candidates must be able to manage cases independently and meet deadlines. Experience taking and defending depositions is required. Excellent communication and client relationship skills are necessary. Responsibilities Manage a docket of civil litigation matters from inception through trial or settlement. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence. Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case development.
