Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in partnership with the patient and interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; provide guidance and supervision to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines, using critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with policy and standards.
• Promote patient safety, advocate for patients and families, and support continuity of care across the care continuum.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work in an outpatient care setting
• RN education (e.g., Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing)
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate care and supervise nursing staff
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
