Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Oncology - Grand Rapids, MI

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist in Oncology to drive adoption of the company's medicines among healthcare providers across Michigan. The field-based role focuses on building credibility with physicians and stakeholders through scientific dialogue, territory management, and cross-functional collaboration to meet sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Promote approved BMS oncology product indications within assigned Michigan territory to meet sales targets
- Conduct scientific presentations and in-office discussions with healthcare providers on product information
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans leveraging available tools and insights
- Organize external speaker programs and facilitate logistics with approved speakers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other field teams to deliver optimal customer experience and share relevant insights
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharma/biotech sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate scientific and clinical data accurately to physicians
- Hematology/Oncology experience required
- Strong account management, sales competencies, and proven track record meeting/exceeding goals
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with positive team mindset
- Experience building and maintaining credibility with key customers and office staff
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific information
