Sulphur, LA
Long-Term Contract | 6 Months
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $18–$20/hour
TempExperts is seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish Receptionist/Office Clerk to support a busy hiring center in Sulphur. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and keeping a busy office running smoothly .

- Make a direct impact by helping candidates move efficiently through the hiring and onboarding process.
- Gain experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee records, and hiring operations.
- Work as part of a collaborative hiring center team.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and check in craft labor candidates arriving at the hiring center.
- Register and pre-screen candidates as part of the hiring process.
- Schedule candidates for required screenings, orientations, and training.
- Assist candidates with onboarding activities and required documentation.
- Provide professional, helpful customer service to a high volume of applicants each day.
- Answer questions and help candidates understand the next steps in the hiring process.
- Enter and maintain candidate and employee information in company systems and databases.
- Learn and use hiring center software, databases, and other systems supporting recruiting and onboarding.
- File, organize, maintain, and manage employee records and onboarding documentation.
- Assist with maintaining I-9 forms, medical records, training records, personnel files, and other required documentation .
- Follow established hiring, onboarding, compliance, and recordkeeping procedures.
- Work closely with the Hiring Center Manager and team to keep the onboarding process moving efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and candidate information.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent English and Spanish required or strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial/construction, customer service, recruiting, staffing, or a related environment preferred .
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Comfortable working with a high volume of applicants and competing priorities .
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable learning new computer systems, databases, and software platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable team player with a professional and ethical approach to work.
- Previous experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, or hiring processes is a plus.
