About the Role

Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks. The role demands a proven track record of serving as a strategic financial partner in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting, as well as the ability to lead teams, develop talent, and build collaborative relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex organizational finances, particularly in a multi-program or growth-oriented environment, and possess excellent communication skills to present financial information effectively to diverse audiences. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, with advanced credentials such as a CPA or MBA being preferred.
