About the Role As our preferred Event Planner, you will be the planner we recommend to clients booking events at Rancho Moonrise. You'll work closely with our venue team throughout the planning process to create seamless, memorable experiences for our guests. This is a referral-based opportunity . Rancho Moonrise will connect you with event inquiries, and you will contract directly with clients for your planning services. You will manage your own pricing, contracts, and client relationship while collaborating with our team to ensure successful event execution. Responsibilities Serve as the preferred Event Planner for Rancho Moonrise weddings, private parties, and corporate events. Guide clients through the planning process from initial consultation through event day. Create event timelines, vendor coordination, floor plans, and logistics. Work closely with the Rancho Moonrise venue team to ensure smooth communication and execution. Attend and manage all events that you plan on-site. Coordinate vendors, rentals, décor, and client details. Maintain a high level of professionalism while representing both yourself and Rancho Moonrise. Handle last-minute changes and high-pressure situations with confidence and composure. Qualifications 5+ years of professional event planning experience. Wedding planning experience is required. Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Exceptional design aesthetic with a natural talent for creating beautiful, elevated, and visually memorable event experiences. Strong communication and client service abilities. Calm, professional demeanor under pressure. Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously. Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset. Availability to work evenings and weekends as events require. Compensation Event opportunities are provided through referrals from Rancho Moonrise. You will establish your own planning packages, pricing, and client contracts. Clients hire and pay you directly for planning services. Rancho Moonrise receives a referral commission for clients who book through our venue with you.
