Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.Role And ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Architect your responsibility includes:Providing technical direction for a team of highly skilled software engineers responsible for developing software that enables the ever-increasing miniaturization of semiconductor technology.Assessing technical feasibility and understanding the role of software in relation to other technical disciplines (system and function engineering, mechatronics, etc.)Verifying stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture.Identifying, evaluating and planning for the dependencies both within and between parallel software efforts.Decomposing the scope of development efforts and estimating the resources necessary to execute them.Supporting and directing an Agile methodology for development of software using a combination of C, C++ and Python.Creating architecture and designs that are modular, scalable, robust and meet customer requirements.Generating, evaluating and ensuring the quality of requirements and software documentation (design documents, user documentation, etc.)Evaluating and ensuring the quality of software code and adherence to architectural standards.Contributing to test planning and supporting test development and execution activities to ensure the software meets the high-quality standards our customers expect.Evaluation of technical issues, risks, and dependencies for projects.Interfacing with customers and other stakeholders to gather a complete understanding of their requirements.Identifying skill gaps and training needs for team members.You will also participate in continuous process improvement activities aimed at ensuring the processes and tools used throughout software development lifecycle are increasing the team's ability to develop high quality software in the most efficient manner.
