Manager of Clinical Services

Overview We are hiring a compassionate and experienced Clinical Service Manager to work with our clients at The Camp Recovery Center in Scotts Valley! This is a key role whose primary goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for our adult clients who have co-occurring disorders (substance use disorder and mental health disorders). The Camp is a 74-bed treatment center providing services to adults on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. PURPOSE STATEMENT: Plan, implement and coordinate the clinical services offered by the facility. Role Location : CALIFORNIA Calculated Salary Range for role Manager of Clinical Service State – California: $104,000.00 - $124,800.00 per year DOE Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide oversight and support to all clinical operations in areas assigned. Provide oversight and monitor clinical services as it relates to service provision, treatment and access. Review and analyze clinical and operational performance results. Develop plans for improvement as needed. Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation. Develop and implement behavioral health processes, procedures and policies across programs. Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning and reporting processes as appropriate. Represent the company at meetings in the community. Collaborate with other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative work environment. Support compliance by adherence to accreditation standards as well as standards of funding agencies and licensing boards. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority. OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform other functions and tasks as assigned Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Psychiatric Nursing required. Five or more years’ experience in behavioral health services with clinical experience with all target populations (SMI, SED, DD, SUD) required. Three or more years’ supervision experience required. Management or administration experience and/or three years work experience in Utilization Management required. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Meet DWMHA credentialing requirements for professional practice Masters Level licensed behavioral health professional as QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) CMHP (Child Mental Health Professional), and QMRP. Must possess a full license in one of the following disciplines: LLP/LP, LPC, LMSW, NP/RN. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility. COMPENSATION: Compensation for roles at THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.
