ER experience is essential; the unit notes that this site is not able to support first‑time travelers. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,059–$2,099 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12‑hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights) Start date: 07/06/2026 Work setting: Level I trauma center emergency department Duties include rotating weekends/holidays/on‑call as needed Responsibilities Provide direct bedside care to adult ED patients, including triage, initial assessment, monitoring, and ongoing treatment decisions Administer medications, perform and assist with emergent interventions, and interpret telemetry as indicated Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient flow and ensure patient safety Document care accurately and in real time; participate in on‑call/charge responsibilities as assigned Support boarder management and contribute to a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment Adapt to rotating shifts and potential unit‑wide float requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards Requirements Active RN license in New York (NY) BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) NIHSS certification Minimum of two (2) years of ED experience Telemetry experience required Prior travel ER experience required ER assignments may not support first‑time travelers Education Nursing degree (RN) as required for licensure in NY Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract Extension opportunities based on unit needs and performance Housing assistance options available Nationwide travel assignments #J-18808-Ljbffr
