Technology plays a crucial role in our operational workflows, including the use of Maxient for managing cases and documentation, allowing for seamless record keeping and communication among team members.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Easing Thoughts Counseling, Inc., you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks that directly contribute to patient care and organizational success, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance use needs of clients, creating individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals.

• Providing counseling services both individually and in group settings, addressing various mental health concerns, and facilitating support group discussions.
\n
• Responding to crisis situations by providing immediate crisis intervention and support, and conducting assessments to determine the necessary course of action.

• Maintaining and updating accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with federal, state, and organizational regulations, ensuring compliance and best practice standards.

• Delivering educational outreach programs and professional development workshops for students, staff, and faculty on mental health topics, contributing to a more informed community.

• Consulting with clients, and outreach to faculty and staff to address mental health issues, and best practices for facilitating psychological support and wellness.

• Planning and implementing mental health programs and initiatives that promote wellness and retention within the student population, such as mental health screenings and therapeutic activities.

In this role, you will serve a diverse population of clients, including individuals battling mental health disorders, substance use issues, and those seeking support for emotional well-being. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) in the state of California. Please note that we cannot consider applicants with associate-level licenses, as they are not billable through Medicare.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with case management systems such as Maxient.

• The ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and manage multiple client cases effectively.

• A self-directed approach and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be considered assets:
