Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy technician position is available in Orange County, offering an opportunity to utilize your skills in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This contract role is based in Santa Ana, CA, and requires expertise in both general pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Manage prescription orders and process transactions efficiently
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Assist customers with questions and provide excellent service
- Comply with all applicable regulations and safety standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Knowledge of prescription medications and pharmacy procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Certification or licensure as required by state regulations is preferred
