Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll be matched to either a GOALS classroom at the high school level or an essential skills setting at the elementary level—both offering opportunities to guide and mentor students in a meaningful way. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, totaling 25 hours per week, providing a healthy work-life balance during the summer.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Current Special Education Teacher Certification in Missouri
• Proven experience working in special education classroom settings
• Enthusiasm for ESY programs and a strong commitment to student success
• Adaptability to multiple caseload types, from high school to elementary essential skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized, evidence-based instruction to students in designated SPED classrooms
• Develop and implement learning goals and lesson plans tailored to each student’s IEP
• Collaborate with support staff, families, and other educators for holistic student support
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress throughout the ESY session
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
