Permanent - Point of Care Lab Technician

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager, performs waived laboratory testing in remote or mobile settings, including specimen processing, data entry, quality control, and reporting of results. Responsibilities include blood collection (venipuncture and capillary), operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, troubleshooting issues, monitoring STAT turnaround times, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and documentation standards. This role also requires driving a company van to pick up and return it at the designated location before and after every shift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with laboratory processes and workflow.
• California licensure as an LVN, MLT, or CLS ( Phlebotomists are not eligible ).
• Previous phlebotomy and laboratory testing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required.
• California state license required.
