Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D), Ukiah, California. This travel-nurse opportunity begins November 9, 2026 for a 13-week assignment in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients and groups of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with the health care team.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; provide guidance and supervisory discretion in clinical decision-making.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered outcomes.
- Document all aspects of care accurately and maintain patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum transitions.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California (unrestricted)
- Obstetric/L&D nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
