Job Title: Commercial Roofing Business Development Manager Location: Phoenix, AZ Salary: $85k-$120K/Year Tiello is partnered with a well-established Commercial Roofing Contractor in their search for a Commercial Roofing Business Development professional to drive growth and expand their customer base across commercial, industrial, and multi-family markets. This company has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, reliable service, and long-term customer relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional who understands the commercial roofing industry and knows how to turn relationships and opportunities into revenue. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new accounts, building relationships with key decision-makers, identifying project opportunities, and managing the sales process from initial contact through contract award. The successful candidate will combine strong industry knowledge with excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Project Types Commercial re-roofing projects Roofing service and repair programs Preventive maintenance contracts New construction projects Commercial and industrial facilities Multi-family properties Low-slope and steep-slope roofing systems TPO, PVC, EPDM, coatings, and other commercial roofing systems Key Responsibilities Identify, develop, and close new commercial roofing opportunities Prospect and build relationships with property owners, property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and other key decision-makers Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial roofing opportunities Conduct client meetings, property visits, roof walks, and site inspections Identify customer needs and develop roofing solutions that align with project requirements Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and operations teams to develop accurate and competitive proposals Present proposals, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and close new business Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity, and pipeline updates Generate opportunities through cold outreach, referrals, networking, industry events, and existing customer relationships Follow up consistently with prospects, leads, and past customers Develop long-term relationships with customers and identify opportunities for repeat and additional business Stay current on commercial roofing systems, materials, industry trends, and market conditions Monitor competitors and identify new opportunities within the market Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals Partner with interna Qualifications & Requirements 3 years of experience in commercial roofing sales, business development, or construction sales Proven track record of generating new business and closing commercial accounts Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, coatings, and related applications Existing relationships within the commercial roofing, construction, property management, or facility management markets preferred Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to understand customer needs and develop effective roofing solutions CRM experience preferred Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven Ability to manage a sales territory independently and prioritize multiple opportunities Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel locally for client meetings, property visits, and job walks U.S. work authorization required Legal & EEO Language: Tiello LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
