Base pay range $65.00/hr - $80.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Solugenix Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company, in their search for a Business Systems Analyst. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity based out of Irvine, CA (Hybrid). The Business Analyst is responsible for the development of effective and efficient business processes. The Business Systems Analyst will perform software gap analysis, application set-up and configuration and system and workflow analysis. Qualifications: 7+ years of BSA experience. Excellent communication skills (written and oral). Strong experience documenting current and future state processes, and gap analysis. Strong experience with mapping process flows with Visio. Financial services industry experience (especially investment systems experience) is a plus. Responsibilities: Designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting software according to Client's systems standards, policies and procedures, security and compliance requirements. Leading and performing requirements gathering, functional decomposition, workflow analysis and logical design tasks. Identifying business applications and integrated technology opportunities and solutions for resolving business problems. Creating system technical specifications. Advising customers on best practices, application customizations and interface strategies. Serving as team lead for assigned non-routine projects. Analyzes and identifies policies, systems or procedures that can be improved and recommends appropriate changes to management. Reviews system control and management reports to maintain system integrity and to assist in problem resolution. Assists in the implementation of new or revised business procedures and systems in major department or section of a major department. Assists with the analysis requirements for a system impacting various users and reach a consensus as to the best approach. Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $65/hour to $80/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
