Responsible for the local maintenance planning and execution; productivity, accountability and dependability program execution and (SLA) service level agreement compliance delivering the optimum level of performance in support of safe and reliable airline operations. Partners with all local customer bases ensuring positive customer relations and service level goals achieved. Maintain a positive working together relationship in a union environment.Supervises Mechanic team performance and execution against all division and corporate maintenance objectivesThis includes maintenance customer (SLA) service level agreement compliance, maintenance cycle time, all in service level goals / tolerances, planned and preventative maintenance program complianceSupports efficient and effective team maintenance operations in a positive, productive and safe work environmentSupervises maintenance productivity, coordinates technical training, manages employee dependability issues, supports team recognition program and supports employee accountability programs in accordance with policyLead safe and environmentally compliant maintenance operationsSupports all safety / OSHA, environmental and training programs complianceSupports safety mitigation programs and leads investigations that support root cause analysis of accidents, injuries and incidences involving ground service equipment or team personnelMaintains proactive communication and positive relations with maintenance team and customer group stakeholdersManages accurate and effective customer reporting and communication programs while sustaining positive customer service and effectiveness ratingsQualificationsWhat's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Post-secondary education in a technical- or maintenance –related field, or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2 years experience in a maintenance- related roleKnowledge of planning and execution of maintenance operations, leading a team of maintenance personnel, advanced computer skillsPossess related technical knowledgeLimited travel may be requiredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Associate's degree in business or related fieldRelated Skills / Trades LicensesPrefer experience in building maintenance/systems-related maintenance operationsPrefer knowledge of facilities / building maintenance skills / trades, such as Electrical, HVAC, Conveyor, Plumbing, building maintenance / systemsJob Posting End Date: August 16, 2026The base pay range for this role is $126,309.60 to $154,378.40. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills.
