Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.The Balcony Cleaner will maintain the cleanliness of all assigned balconies and patio furniture, sliding doors, and windows.Examples of duties include but are not limited to the following:Maintains and cleans balcony.Works with Engineering department to maintain condition/quality of balconies.Reports all maintenance problems as needed.Notifies supervisor when a shortage of supplies is noticed.Recognizes and uses appropriate cleaning chemicals.Turns in articles left in rooms to management for "Lost and Found" handling, following hotel procedures.Assists with projects as needed.Performs other duties as required.Qualifications:Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests.Relevant experience in a large resort.
