Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for ICU Float Pool RN!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Start Dates: OCT or NOV (11/2 or 11/16) OR 12/2 start date acceptable
- Position Type: ICU Float Pool - willingness to float to MS/Tele/PCU/Overflow units as needed
- Orientation: EKG exam administered on the first day - must pass to move forward

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


- Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU
- License: Active CA RN License
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted - must have experience in a 400-bed or larger facility
- Flu Vaccine: Required - no exemptions

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:


- Experience with PA Line/Swan Ganz is mandatory
- Large hospital experience is essential

JOB DETAILS:


- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Floating Required: Yes - this is a float position
- Active License: Must be active at the time of submission
- Scheduling Requests: None accommodated - flexibility needed

PATIENT CARE DETAILS:


- Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
- Daily Census: 24 beds total in the adult ICU
- Interdisciplinary Support: Collaborate with various support teams including IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more

CORE SKILLS:


- Arterial line management
- Chest tube assistance
- Blood product administration
- Ventilator management
- Central line care and management
- Emergency medications and more

ADDITIONAL UNIT INFORMATION:


- Special procedures involve diverse patient diagnoses from neuro to transplant
- Preferred Experience: EVD, CRRT, and solid ICU skills
