Process and verify employee timesheets and attendance records to ensure accurate payroll calculations. Calculate wages, bonuses, deductions, and taxes in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards. Prepare and distribute employee paychecks or direct deposits in a timely manner. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and leave balances professionally and promptly. Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies to ensure compliance. Requirements Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar payroll administration role. Strong knowledge of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and labor laws. Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel. Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Good organizational and time management skills to meet payroll deadlines. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees and other departments.
