LVN / LPN - Medical Surgical

RNs need to have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy as well as placing IVs as this is a required skill for any RN at Unity. *******LPN: May not assume assignment and act as resource in GIOF or med/surg. May be utilized as PCT This is a 14 bed overflow unit for several months to accommodate our ED boarder patients. This will be a med/surg tele unit. It will be a flex space inside our GI Endoscopy space so the number of patients may increase or decrease depending on demand/boarder numbers. Certifications: BLS Skills: Emergency Department, MS/Tele, Blood Glucose Monitoring/Testing, Feeding tube care and management, Foley catheter insertion female, Foley catheter insertion male, Ear Drops, Eye Drops, IM & SQ, NG Tube/G Tube, Oral, Subcutaneous, Ambulation, Face masks, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Bathing: sitz, tub, bed, shower, Mouth care, Admission of Patient, Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD, Isolation Precautions, Vital Sign monitoring Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) They will try but not guaranteed Locals accepted: (Y/N) N (75 miles) Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: Minimal RTO please any additional RTO requests beyond what is submitted prior to signing cannot be accommodated.
