Litigation Associate Attorney

The Law Offices of Christian Contreras, PLC (the "Firm") is seeking to hire a fourth associate attorney. We are a civil rights litigation firm specializing in excessive force cases and jail death cases. Position Description The associate attorney will litigate cases from inception to the pre-trial phase. The associate will be responsible for all aspects of litigation including client intakes/interviews, client communications, drafting of pleadings, drafting of motions, drafting of discovery, taking and depending depositions, appearing at hearings, and pre-trial responsibilities. The associate will also have opportunities to second chair or third chair trials with the managing attorney. Requirements / Qualifications J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar Strong research and writing skills Experience in litigation is preferred but not required Salary of $110,000 to $180,000 per year depending on experience Medical benefits Dental and vision benefits Annual discretionary bonus commensurate with salary 10 days of combined vacation and sick leave More information on our firm can be found at #J-18808-Ljbffr
