Responsibilities
- Circulate in the Operating Room during procedures and assist surgeons and anesthesia staff
- Coordinate flow of equipment, supplies, and staff to support the surgical team
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and patient safety throughout the perioperative period
- Prepare patients for surgery, including safe and appropriate anatomical positioning
- Safely operate equipment routinely used in the OR and assist with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care planning
- Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials and document relevant information in the appropriate logs and information systems
- Complete downtime tasks as assigned, such as chart auditing and unit cleanup

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (California)
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- One year of recent, full-time operating room experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
- Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
