Behavioral Health Provider / Senior Behavioral Health Provider, UNLV Student Wellness – Student Health and Faculty Staff Treatment University of Nevada – Las Vegas (UNLV) – Full‑time – Las Vegas – Posted: February 16, 2026 – Closing date: December 31, 2026 Position Overview The Behavioral Health Provider delivers brief clinical mental health interventions at the UNLV Student Health Center, included in a multidisciplinary care team providing services to a diverse student population. This is a full‑time, 12‑month position. Key Responsibilities Receive warm hand‑offs from medical providers and triage students presenting with mental health concerns. Conduct initial clinical assessments and administer brief evidence‑based interventions. Provide acute crisis assessments and interventions, including voluntary or involuntary hospitalizations when necessary. Recommend treatment and provide referrals as indicated. Facilitate psychoeducational groups and workshops. Collaborate with medical and mental‑health providers as part of a multidisciplinary team. Minimum Qualifications LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, or related master’s degree from an accredited institution; Nevada licensure for independent practice required. One year of related professional experience for Behavioral Health Provider; five years for Senior Behavioral Health Provider. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing mental‑health services within a medical setting. Compensation Behavioral Health Provider: $76,649–$84,518. Senior Behavioral Health Provider: $87,801–$93,637.
