Assistant Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Social & Behavioral Health, School of Public Health [R0150536] University of Nevada-Las Vegas | Las Vegas, NV Full‑time, 100% FTE, salary negotiable. Overview The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for an Assistant Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Social & Behavioral Health in the School of Public Health. This is a 9‑month, non‑tenure track position beginning in Fall 2026. Role of the Position This position requires a 4/4 teaching schedule, primarily teaching undergraduate courses in public health, with the possibility of teaching graduate‑level courses. Service is a requirement and includes academic, professional, and/or community‑service participation. Minimum Qualifications • PhD in Public Health, Health Education, Health Promotion, Health Behavior, Community Health, or related fields, or a Doctorate of Public Health from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Preferred Qualifications • Experience teaching both in‑person and web‑based courses.
