Gaming Management, Lecturer/Assistant Professor-in-Residence – Harrah College of Hospitality (R0150125) University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) The William F. Harrah College of Hospitality seeks a full‑time, 9‑month, non‑tenure‑track faculty member for the Lecturer or Assistant Professor‑in‑Residence rank in the Department of Resort, Gaming and Golf Management, commencing July 2026. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in casino management, gaming operations, innovation, e‑sports, casino marketing, problem gambling, tribal gaming, and related subjects. Develop new courses as needed, supervise the gaming internship program, mentor students and assist graduates in industry placement, and serve at the department, college, and university levels. Required Qualifications Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, and 3 to 5 years of gaming experience in management or operations. Master’s degree for Lecturer rank, with a minimum of five years of gaming experience in management or supervisory capacity. Credentials must be obtained before start date. Preferred Qualifications Active publication record and consistent teaching experience aligned with UNLV standards. Expertise in responsible gaming programs, problem gambling, commercial and tribal gaming management, casino marketing, customer loyalty, emerging trends such as iGaming, e‑sports and cybersecurity, game mathematics and analytics, and table‑game demonstrations.
