Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish a positive and trusting rapport with patients, fostering an environment of safety and openness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who are struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. This may include families in crisis, couples facing relational issues, and individuals seeking to improve their mental well-being. Your sensitivity to a diverse range of experiences and your commitment to trauma-informed care will be paramount in creating effective therapeutic alliances.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling with a focus on family systems.

• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms for therapy sessions and adhering to remote clinical documentation standards.

• Strong foundational skills in trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Exceptional communication, empathy, and active listening skills to engage patients and foster strong therapeutic relationships.

• The ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a virtual setting.
