RN - MedSurg/Tele

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:00), with every other weekend required. Job Description We are seeking a skilled MS/Tele RN to join a high-volume unit specializing in complex care for medicine, ortho overflow, and long-term patients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratios and will be experienced in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Monitor telemetry and manage patient care within assigned ratios. Administer blood products and manage central line care. Perform phlebotomy and initiate IVs, including managing PICC lines. Assist with rapid response scenarios and code situations. Provide comprehensive patient care including wound care, tracheostomy management, and isolation precautions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current NY Registered Nurse license in hand - no exceptions. Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience required. 1:6 patient ratio experience in a MedSurg or Telemetry setting. EPIC charting experience is mandatory. BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
