As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to emerging situations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with store personnel and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 01:45 PM - 11:30 PM Sat: 01:45 PM - 11:30 PM Sun: 01:45 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns promptly to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Document incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities accurately and completely in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
