Tax/Accounting Manager
Seeking a Tax/Accounting Manager to join a CPA firm in West Dundee, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review taxes for individuals, businesses, pensions, and trusts.
- Provide tax consulting services.
- Provide strategic tax planning and compliance services.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
- Interact with clients and take responsibility for client needs.
- Work with individuals and small and medium sized businesses in all areas of accounting and compliance.
- Maintain strong managerial, communication, technical, and organizational skills in a fast paced environment.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all work products.
Qualifications:
- Accounting degree is required.
- 3 or more years of public accounting experience in accounting and tax is required.
- CPA certificate is preferred, but not required.
- Expertise with federal and state tax regulations.
- Experience interpreting financial statements.
- Experience with tax and accounting software packages, including UltraTax, Accounting CS, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online.
- Strong client management, organizational, and problem solving skills.
