Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for ongoing locum tenens coverage in a hospital setting with a high patient volume. This role involves solo shifts in a hospital-based emergency department with open ICU management, supporting approximately 32,000 annual patients.

• Patient Volume: Approximately 32,000 annually, 90-100 patients daily, typically 18-20 patients per shift
• EMR: Meditech 6.1

Clinical Scope

• Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency patients
• Management of medical, surgical, and traumatic presentations
• Open ICU coverage during shifts
• Documentation and order entry within Meditech 6.1

Practice Environment
Hospital-based setting housed in hospital-owned APTS with open ICU during coverage shifts. The facility provides a defined infrastructure supporting emergency care and ICU management, with established protocols and resources.

Requirements

• Active MD license in North Carolina
• NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• DEA Registration
