Job Requirements

• Board certification required
• At least 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience required
• Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
• Active, unrestricted physician license and ability to meet locum tenens credentialing requirements
• Comfortable working in a solo coverage emergency department environment
• Ability to manage a broad range of emergency medicine cases in a high-volume setting

Responsibilities

• Provide standard solo Emergency Department coverage during 12-hour shifts
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of emergency medicine patients
• Collaborate with mid-level providers and available support services to ensure efficient patient care
• Utilize Meditech 6.1 for documentation and workflow management
• Deliver timely, patient-centered care in a busy but well-supported clinical environment
• Maintain high standards of clinical judgment, communication, and documentation throughout each shift
