Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

As a Clean Room Assembler, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to assemble component parts into assemblies, sub-assemblies, or completed units using standard operating procedures. Your role may also involve conducting quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble component parts into assemblies, sub-assemblies, or completed units.
• Perform tasks using standard operating procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line.
• Apply basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within the assigned area.
• Adhere to all quality guidelines and scientific methods.
• Work under close supervision with all work reviewed for accuracy.
• Seek supervisor approval for any deviations from the norm.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in cleanroom assembly.
• Experience using microscopes.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of quality inspection processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in assembly or warehouse settings is preferred.
• Maintenance of appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.

Work Environment

Work within a cleanroom environment utilizing assembly tools and microscopes. Follow a structured shift schedule with a focus on maintaining quality and adhering to standard operating procedures.

This is a Contract position based out of Chicopee, MA.

The pay range for this position is $17.65 - $19.40/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
