Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise as a School Occupational Therapist to an exciting, part-time opportunity supporting students in a welcoming educational environment. This contract position is ideal for professionals seeking meaningful work over the summer with a focused, consistent schedule. Orientation will take place on June 29th, with the assignment running from June 30th to August 6th. Your role will be essential in helping students reach their full potential through tailored intervention and support.

Key Qualifications:

• Active state licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience working within a school setting or with pediatric populations
• Strong understanding of school-based OT practices, including IEP development and implementation
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt to various student needs and learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess student abilities and develop individualized goals and intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom
• Document progress, attend meetings, and participate in team discussions to ensure student success
• Offer guidance and resources to families to support continued development at home
