Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers three available positions, working with a diverse K-12 caseload during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The assignment runs from June 29 to August 6, with a convenient schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM—perfect for those seeking a balanced summer commitment.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with eligibility to practice in a school environment
• Experience supporting K-12 students preferred
• Knowledge of pediatric therapy principles and IEP processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches for students with a range of physical challenges

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students across grade levels as outlined in their IEPs
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of therapy goals
• Document all therapy sessions and student progress accurately and efficiently
• Communicate with teachers, families, and other support staff to ensure continuity of care
• Encourage student independence and engagement through creative interventions
