School Occupational Therapist - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position is designed for those who are passionate about helping children succeed in academic and functional tasks. You'll be working with a dedicated educational team to ensure students receive the therapeutic support they need during the summer session.

Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania
Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
Strong understanding of OT interventions tailored for educational environments
Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with children of varying needs

Role Responsibilities:

Assess students and develop individualized therapy plans
Deliver direct therapy services to students in small group or individual sessions
Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
Monitor progress, document interventions, and adjust plans as needed
Provide input for IEP meetings and contribute to overall student success
Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations
Participate in orientation on June 29th and fulfill contract from June 30th to August 6th

Schedule & Perks:

Enjoy a part-time schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:45AM to 12:15PM
