BAR MANAGER

Job Summary The Bar Manager will be responsible for the supervision of the bar/food service operation, ensuring the standards of excellence are met. They will supervise associates and support financial responsibilities. Salary and Additional Compensation Salary: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 Other Forms of Compensation: N/A Key Responsibilities Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches bar team Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions for the bar Ensure compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the business Manage bar operations Performs other duties as assigned Place all weekly orders for the bar and closely monitor inventory Manages lounge as acting Manager on Duty in addition to bar manager Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in bar management/mixology Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet Manager ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is required but can be obtained after employment has been accepted.
