Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address psychosocial issues, including mental health disorders, addiction, and trauma.

• Assess client needs and participate in developing strategic treatment plans to guide therapeutic interventions.

• Implement psychosocial programs by coordinating with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide psychoeducation and counseling services, tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, families, and groups.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies and short-term counseling as necessary, ensuring client safety and support.
\n
• Utilize assessment tools and methodologies to evaluate patient progress, document findings, and modify treatment plans accordingly.

• Maintain thorough and accurate records of client interactions, treatment interventions, and progress reports in our electronic health record system.
\n
• Deliver health-related educational presentations and workshops to community groups, schools, and other organizations to promote mental health awareness.

• Work collaboratively with community organizations to provide referrals and resources that support patient well-being.
\n
• Participate in staff training and development sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and share best practices within the team.

• Other duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the organization and its clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a broad patient population that includes individuals struggling with various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.

• Active and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of psychological theories and demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based practices in a therapeutic setting.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

• Proven experience in crisis intervention and effective assessment strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
