Porterville Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic practice in Santa Ana, California. This full-time role requires a commitment to enhancing patient mobility and overall functional capabilities. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide individualized therapy and rehabilitation interventions to a diverse patient population.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Santa Ana, where you will work alongside a collaborative team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The facility is equipped with modern rehabilitation equipment and resources, enhancing your ability to provide effective therapy in a supportive and dynamic work environment. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks essential to patient care:

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to identify individual therapy goals and treatment plans.
• Manage an effective patient load, averaging one patient every hour, ensuring high-quality, personalized care.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques to enhance patients' movement and overall function.
• Educate patients on exercise regimens and rehabilitation programs tailored to their specific needs.
• Utilize state-of-the-art EMR software, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians and specialists to formulate and adjust comprehensive care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress consistently to ensure optimal outcomes and guide future therapy sessions.
• Motivate patients to adhere to their rehabilitation programs, providing support and encouragement throughout their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and debilitating conditions, striving to improve their independence and functional capabilities. Each patient presents unique challenges and opportunities for targeted rehabilitation, giving you the chance to apply your expertise in manual therapy techniques and innovative exercise programs.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in California
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license
• Proven competency in manual therapy methods
• Experience in using EMR systems like WebPT

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be advantageous:

• Prior work experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment
• Familiarity with developing and executing individualized fitness programs
• Experience in treating a diverse range of patients with varying orthopedic issues

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
